Not sure if this is a difference between Windows and Mac, but once I made the change, I was able to get it done. If you drag the yellow dot, you copy the cell contents to the rows you drag over. Use Text to Columns (Data tab, Data Tools group) However, it should be CHAR(13) not CHAR(10), that's where I had trouble. Select a range of adjacent cells: Click a cell, then drag a white dot any direction across the range of adjacent cells. Select a cell to add or edit its content: Double-click it.
